About Me

Hi, I’m Melissa Joy Granovsky, MAdEd.

As a dedicated scholar of belonging, passionate disability advocate, and curriculum specialist, I strive to bring transformative change to educational institutions. My background in adult and art education has allowed me to infuse innovation and creativity into both online and traditional learning environments.

Currently, I serve as the Mentorship Manager for the Indigenous Friends Association, where I design and implement culturally inclusive mentorship programs. With experience in various educational roles, from leading mentorship programs to developing curricula and conducting research, I am committed to fostering holistic growth and wellness.

My educational journey includes a PhD in Art Education from Concordia University and a Master of Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University. Beyond my professional endeavors, I am passionate about creating supportive and inclusive learning communities that embrace diversity and promote equity.
